We are a 3rd generation, family-owned retail experience! We are unique, eclectic, sometimes irreverent, and sometimes weird (and we are referring to both the staff and the store). In short, we are as far removed from a "Hallmark style" cookie-cutter chain store as you can get. We want to share with you what makes us different, and why that's a good thing. We have been amusing ourselves and the Shadyside community for more than 40 years, and now its time to share the love.

This is what we do here. We know our products like the back of our hand, and we are constantly helping people find the perfect gift for the person who has everything. We put these gift lists together for those common but still strangely stymying occasions where the perfect gift doesn't spring easily to mind. Find all our great gift ideas here!

We are all voracious readers at Kards Unlimited. We may not sell every book in the world, but we are very enthusiastic about the ones we do have. Everybody knows they can come into the store and get great recommendations from the staff, so we thought we would share some of our insights online as well! We pride ourselves on our knowledge of holidays, both real and fake. Every month we compile these into a handy guide. That way you can be prepared for things like "Talk Like a Pirate Day" and "Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day," as well as the old standbys like "Valentine's Day" and "Christmas."
