Mary Shelley was one of the original masters of the macabre. Her most famous work, Frankenstein, was one of the first true gothic novels, and is especially unique in that it is one of the first to combine gothic and romantic elements.
This candle is inspired by Mary Shelley’s perserverance through her tragic and tumultuous life. Frankincense’s aroma has been purported to have calming and soothing effects. This woodsy scent has aldehyic, sweet, herbaceous top notes, the familiar scent of fresh incense, with slightly powdery dry floral base notes.
