Hot Dog Day
Blank Inside

Hot dogs are an American tradition to be sure. There is even a National Hot Dog and Sausage Council. American vendors in the 1800’s were giving customers gloves to eat the dogs with so the didn’t burn their hands. But people would take them, so that was a poor idea. The bun was the answer. So the story goes that around 1870 a German immigrant named Charles Feltman began selling sausages in buns on Coney Island. July 22nd we celebrate this delicacy. Grab a dog, top it with anything you can think of, and you’ve got a tasty tube of meat.
This card was designed by a Kards Unlimited Worker Bee, because we are all giant nerds! Printed in Pgh! 5”x 7”.
